a. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of use of the site The user of the site acknowledges having read these terms and conditions of use of the site and undertakes to comply with them. When a user account is created (Applicant or Recruiter), the user must confirm that he/she agrees to abide by these terms and conditions of use of the Website by ticking the appropriate box. The conditions of use of the site may change and be modified at any time. Users are advised to consult them regularly. Users will be asked to validate the new conditions of use of the site when they log in to their personal account.

b. Creating a personal account (Candidate or Recruiter) Creating a personal account is a prerequisite for using FashionJobs.com's personalised services When creating an account, the user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Creating an account automatically and/or with a false identity and/or with a temporary e-mail address is prohibited. The user's identifier and password are personal and confidential. The user is responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and security. In the event of proven or suspected loss or theft of his/her login and/or password, the user undertakes to promptly change them on the FashionJobs.com website It is the user's responsibility to log out of his/her personal account at the end of each session.

c. Modification of information

  • You are aware of and undertake to comply with CNIL Deliberation No. 02-017 of 21 March 2002 relating to recruitment operations, the CNIL Communiqué of 27 March 2013 and the Law of 06/01/1978 (as amended) relating to information technology, files and civil liberties, particularly with regard to the prohibition on compiling files of applicants on the basis of a fictitious job offer. 

At any time, FashionJobs.com reserves the right to modify or refuse to put a job or internship offer online, in particular if it does not comply with the legal requirements set out above. In the event that the user refuses to accept these modifications, FashionJobs.com may refuse to distribute the offer, it being understood that this refusal will not give rise to any right to compensation on the part of the Client. 

Any modification of an offer by FashionJobs.com will be the object of an information of the final text to the Client by sending an email for its final acceptance.

e. Hypertext links Any link to Fashionjobs.com must be subject to the prior written authorisation of FashionJobs.com and may only be made to the address of the home page of the en.fashionjobs.com website and subject to the integration of a logo. FashionJobs reserves the right to remove any link, of whatever nature, that may damage its image. 

As a Candidate, the user of the FashionJobs.com website undertakes : 
  •  not to communicate your access codes and passwords to any third party, 
  •  not to collect or store data relating to other users
  •  apply automatically on a massive scale to offers published on the fashionjobs.com website 
  •  to use our services in accordance with French regulations and European provisions and in particular not to use them to display any content contrary to legislation on public decency and public order. FashionJobs reserves the right to delete without warning any information that is contrary to the laws in force, 
  •  not to harass another user in any way whatsoever, 
  •  the truthfulness of the information you enter (diplomas, qualifications, experience, personal details, identity, etc.), 
  •  on the possible updating of your profile, particularly following new experience or training.

In principle, the Site and the Application are intended for adults capable of entering into obligations in accordance with the legislation of the country in which the User is located.

Users who are under 16 years of age or incapable must obtain the prior consent of their legal guardian before entering their data on the Website and the Application. Except in the event of a legal obligation of confidentiality, FashionJobs.com may directly inform the person responsible (i) of the specific categories of Personal Data collected from the minor (ii) of the possibility of objecting to the collection, use or storage of such data. 
 
  • The age of 16 may be lowered to 13 depending on the local regulations of the User's habitual residence, pursuant to Article 8 of the RGPD.

f. General responsibilities of the user 
The user undertakes to use and access the FashionJobs.com website in accordance with these general conditions of use and with current French law. 

The user is warned that putting personal information online on the Internet implies that he/she accepts in principle that the information he/she decides to put online via his/her customer account will be widely accessible, in particular via the usual search engines on the Internet. 

In the event of a complaint or claim initiated by a third party and addressed to FashionJobs.com, due to information or data originating from the user, the latter must provide FashionJobs.com with all explanations and supporting documents and be responsible, in all cases, vis-à-vis the company as well as third parties whose rights he/she may have infringed, for the possible consequences of his/her actions with regard to the applicable legal or regulatory provisions, including those involving criminal liability.

FashionJobs.com may suspend the user's access to his/her customer account without prior notice, on its own initiative, in the event of non-compliance with these general conditions of use and in the event of difficulties relating to the lawful nature of the data originating from the user, the misuse of the purpose in relation to the use made of the FashionJobs.com website, in particular in the event of communication of data and content that is abusive, defamatory, illegal in nature, contains incitement to violence or hatred or infringes the rights of third parties. 

Users must not, under penalty of criminal sanctions, put illegal content online, in particular content that : 

to glorify crimes against humanity; to incite or glorify acts of terrorism; to incite racial hatred; to incite hatred against persons on the grounds of their sex, sexual orientation or gender identity; 

incite hatred towards people because of their disability; disseminate pornography, particularly child pornography; incite violence, particularly violence against women; offend against human dignity; utter insults; allege or impute a fact that is prejudicial to a person's honour or reputation (defamation).

Furthermore, the user undertakes not to put inappropriate content online, in particular : 

unrelated to the purpose of the FashionJobs.com services; containing political, religious or philosophical opinions; contrary to accepted standards of behaviour. 

The user undertakes not to:

g. Intellectual property
The entire content of the FashionJobs.com websites is governed by French legislation and international conventions on copyright and intellectual property. All exploitation, translation and adaptation rights are reserved, including for downloadable documents and iconographic and photographic exploitations. It is therefore forbidden to reproduce, copy, sell or exploit and distribute, in any way whatsoever, all or part of the content of the sites or any FashionJobs.com or FashionNetwork.com access rights. 

The general structure, texts, images, whether animated or not, sounds, know-how, programmes and software and any other element making up this site are the exclusive property of Fashion Network and are protected by copyright. All elements of this site are therefore protected by Fashion Network copyright: 

Without prejudice to the provisions of article L.122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code, any representation, reproduction or distribution, in whole or in part, of the site, on any medium whatsoever, without the express prior authorisation of Fashion Network constitutes an act of counterfeiting, punishable in accordance with articles L.335-2 and L.335-3 of the same code.

Without prejudice to the provisions of article L.342-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code, any representation, reproduction or distribution, in whole or in part, of the database, on any medium whatsoever, without the express prior authorisation of Fashion Network is punishable under articles L.343-1 et seq. of the same code. 

The trademarks, trade names and logos appearing on this site are registered trademarks of Fashion Network unless otherwise stated. Any total or partial reproduction of trademarks or logos using elements of the site without the express authorisation of Fashion Network is therefore prohibited. 

The Recruiter authorises FashionJobs.com to reproduce its logo on its website, solely in connection with the publication of one or more job offers or the presentation of the Client. The logo will be supplied to FashionJobs.com by the user in the format defined in the form for drafting offers on the en.fashionjobs.com website.

Fashion Network reserves the right to delete, without prior notice, logo insertions and links to a company presentation video, video), if these do not comply with current legislation or if they cause offence to visitors using the www.fashionjobs.com website and are reported to Fashion Network. 

h. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions of distribution are governed exclusively by French law. 

Given the global nature of the Internet network, by accessing the site and using the services offered by FashionJobs.com, the user agrees to comply with these General Terms and Conditions of Distribution and with the laws applicable in France, where the site is hosted and published, regardless of the country from which it is consulted. 

For all disputes relating to the services provided by FashionJobs.com as well as for the application or interpretation of these General Terms and Conditions of Distribution, the courts of the jurisdiction of Fashion Network's registered office shall have sole jurisdiction.
